Built in 1949 by the Punja family, this used to be the Sun and Sands Hotel. Currently a fetching shade of NHC coral pink and inhabited by Selander Bridge Police, it is a stunning landmark of Dar.

Photographing a police station could get one in trouble for sure, but how about drawing one? Nice building and indeed a landmark of Dar.
very true… we shall see!!!
I’ve been shaken down in there more than once – which kind of takes the sheen off the delightful architecture, I’m afraid. But that aside, this captures it beautifully. .
hmmm i can but imagine – pole
may your 2012 be inspired, happy, creative and free of police stations
