Built in 1930, this striking building on Mosque Street was a major centre of activity for the Khoja Ismaili community up to the 1960s along with the Aga Khan Library built in 1934, and Aga Khan Girl’s School in 1935.

ONE OF THE BEST BUILT AND REMEMBERED BY EVERY ONE WHO ONCE LIVED IN DAR-ES-SALAAM, AND ITS STILL STANDING TALL.
Similarly there are other Jamatkhana buildings in Tanzania built way back.
One that I would request a sketch of would be in Tanga.
